The Oratory Jan Hus

The Oratory Jan Hus, composed by Carel Loewe, was presented during the Hus Festival in the ECCB Congregation of Salvátor Church in Prag, on Monday the 6^th of July 2015. There were four music assemblies that met for this occasion under the baton of Mr. Martin Künstner (Germany). They were all from the southwestern part of the country. Philharmonia Chor Reutlingen e. V., Betzinger Sangerschaft, Ebinger Kammerorcheste and Mitglieder der Wurttembergischen Philharmonie.

The concert was by all means very successful, it was for the very first time that the oratory was played in the Czech Lands. It was rewarded by a long lasting applause during which nearly everybody was standing up.
