The structure of the church is presbyterian and synodal. The main unit is the local congregation, which is administered by the group of elders and their representatives. These are the minister of the church and the curator (layman or lay-woman). The group of the congregations in one region forms a seniorat (presbytery), whose representatives are the senior (the minister) and the seniorate-curator (the layman or the lay-woman). The highest decision-making body of the church is the synod (general assembly). This is the annual meeting of about 80 elected members of all seniorates. The body which administers the church in daily life is the 6-member Synodal Council: 3 church ministers and 3 laypeople. The highest representatives of the church are the leaders of Synodal Council: the Synodal Senior (Moderator) and the Synodal Curator (Lay Moderator).
The central church office has 34 employees in three divisions: Human Resources, Exterior Relations, Economics and Administration.
