G. Köhler, who received the Medal of the ECCB Thanks

On Monday, 11 April 2011 at 14:30 clock was given the Medal of the ECCB Thanks to the couple Köhler. Köhler couple worked for the Felloship Fund (Solidarkasse der sächsischen Pfarrvertretung e.V.) of the Saxon parish, that supports pastors in the Czech Republic and Romania, promotes theology students from Russia and Lithuania and helps families in difficult social situations. Mr. and Mrs. Köhler who initiated the work of the Fund and organized it and in the course of thei work they have done an extraordinary and great work that has helped many people. The synod council of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren would like to express with the awarding of the medal also an appreciation and gratitude for this work and the enduring support of the ECCB.

Mrs Gudula Köhler came to Prague to receive the medal also for her husband in memoriam. The medal was presented by Moderator of ECCB Joel Ruml, and took place in the meeting room of the house in the Hus house in Jungmannova Street in Prague in the presence of several people who knew the couple Köhler or collaborate with them.
