On Tuesday 29 March 2011 a delegation of ECCB visited its Bavarian partner from the Church of Bayreuth. The meeting was attended by synodal senior Joel Ruml, ecumenical department staff and representatives of the Central Church office and Pilsen seniority. The German side were in addition to the regional bishop of Bayreuth Dorothea Greiner attended by three church pastors from this area and the officer for ecumenical relations. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the community Christusbruderschaft Selbitz. The meeting participants acquainted with the life of the community Christusbruderschaft. The program was then about further partnership working in various areas (Friends of the Czech-German understanding, the project works in Cheb, religious care of German guests in Czech spa, Kirchentag for children, Czech-German camp for children), other plans and collaboration were discussed. The atmosphere of meeting was very pleasant, both sides expressed interest in continuing cooperation and jointly cope with some problems in the past which inflicted a partnership. And other areas were epened up, including ECCB received an offer for a three-week spiritual priest stays in the community Christusbruderschaft, both sides will also seek the possibility of cooperation between the two churches Diaconate. At the end was scheduled next meeting, which should take place in March 2012 in West Bohemia.
